Selecting Wallpaper for your home is not what it use to be. I think back to the old days when you could actually go down the street and pick up wallpaper right in the store. Everyone was stocking wallpaper back then. It made buying wallpaper easy and fun. The old days I speak of was only 5 years ago. Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas has really sufferd from online wallcovering sales. Many major decorating stores have drifted away, Even Home Depot shut down there wallpaper department. Lowes still sells wallpaper but the selection is limited. Sherwin Williams is still and always has been there for the wallcovering buisiness. They still have a wide selection of books to choose from. Will the future of Wallcoverings be online wallpaper merchants? I hope not, but it makes sense. Buying wallpaper online has been around for longer than most know. I have several online stores listed at my website Wallcoveringvideos.com, But I would suggest you seek out a merchant in your area that carries wallcovering books first. Looking through a book of wallcovering patterns is and always has been the way to go. You can feel the material and see the thickness and texture. Looking for wallpaper online cannot compare to looking through a wallcovering book. If you are going to buy online make sure you find out all of their return and cancellation policys as well as damaged goods return. Best of luck.

I just finished editing and uploading a new video. This Video is on the Challenging and very expensive Hand Painted Silk Murals manufactured by STARK Wallcovering. This is a full installation video.
The Silk Murals should only be installed by an expert Wallcovering Installer with many years under his belt.
These Murals are custom painted for the dimensions of your room size. They ship with a set of blueprints as to there layout on the wall. Never start any mural until you lay it out and check the dimensions first. Layout is critical and should never be over looked with any Mural installation.
The Silk Murals are painted onto real silk. You are buying a piece of art with these high end murals. The Murals are fragile & durable; at the same time. For best results you should trim the Mural by hand for the best seam. Double cutting on the wall will result in the backing separating from the silk. Your can wipe the paste off the face of the Mural but do not wipe any painted areas, Just wipe the background area as to the paint will smear on some occasions. If you want unique than maybe a Mural from STARK Wallcovering is for you. Just remember is comes with a high price tag.
